The Beach Hotel Ocean Swim Classic is 2.2 km swim from Watego’s Beach to Main Beach, Byron Bay. The swimmers swim a buoyed course from the start area, around The Pass, and across the Bay to Main Beach.
The Westpac Mini Ocean Swim, run prior to the main swim, is on again this year. This shorter distance swim is run from Clark’s Beach to Main Beach and is designed as an introductory swim for novice ocean swimmers and also for children who are good swimmers down to age 9 years.
